Agile Coaches help teams migrate from command and control thinking towards self managing teams. Stephan applied his extensive agile knowledge across several projects to coach them in their transition.
2012-Present, Microsoft ALM Rangers
The ALM Rangers are focused primarily on the delivery of out-of-band tooling and practical guidance to remove adoption blockers in real world environments. Typically an ALM Ranger solution is a hybrid of practical guidance and supporting out-of-band tooling and sample code.
2010-Present, NAVIGATE
NAVIGATE is the Continuous Improvement Program for Wholesale Banking of National Australia Bank. Stephan is responsible for "Inspiring" the internal communities to increase productivity and quality for the IT Service Delivery.
This program is highly succesful with 20% of all employees participating (Instant adoption!), delivering many productivity improvements like 6% across all developers, reducing testing efforts from 4 weeks to 4 hours for certain project, introducing Continuous Delivery patterns and Agile methodology across the business unit and beyond, etc.
2011-Present, ALM Community
Stephan has created and is leading the "Global ALM Community", a community to discuss, improve and maintain IT Best Practices across the IT industry. Many high profile organisations are participating and the participation is rapidly growing, reaching critical mass in the near future.
2010, Silverlight CodeCamp
Being recognised inside and outside National Australia Bank as the Silverlight Expert that "gets stuff done", Stephan set out to use his connections and to share his knowledge Australia wide by organising the Australian Silverlight CodeCamp 2010.
This very succesful weekend event was sold out, attracted international speakers and attendees, including people from Europe.
2008-2010, Pricing Centre
The Pricing Centre projects aim was to replace an existing legacy application. Being one of the first projects do introduce Agile practices, the team implemented many Continuous Delivery practices ending up in the top 3 during periodic maturity assesments. The project was overdelivered on functionality and delivered on time and on budget.
2009, Credience
Credience has implemented many financial analytic algorithms and needed help to optimise the development practices, while testing the core modules for cross platform compatability
2007, Tax office
One of the many tenders that Stephan has contributed to was being the Microsoft expert in the design of the "Software Factory" for the Dutch Tax Office. Logica won the bid and has implemented many IT Best Practices.
2004-2008, Result Centre
LogicaCMG is a consultancy firm that has optimised their IT Service delivery through something called "Software Factories" where the processes are as efficent as they can be and thus optimising Speed, Quality and cost.
2003, Eyetracker

The EMDII (Electronic Mood Device) is a custom build portable device that allows subjects to a experiment to log their moods throughout the day for a period of weeks.
2000-2004, VU-AMS
The VU-AMS is an Ambulatory Monitoring System that allows researched to continuously record Biophysical metrics on a Flash card for upto 24 hours (battery limimt).
